The Nursery!

Wow- I don't know where all this energy came from, but I'm glad to have it! I've had tons of ambition the past few days, and when you couple that with what I'm assessing to be early-onset nesting, you can sure get a lot done! This weekend I've already found myself painting the nursery, running errands, and doing odd chores around the house (I mean, really, odd!) Who would have thought cleaning the bathroom would seem appealing. Anyways, back to progress with the nursery- here's the before shot.

And now painting complete...

And now the window treatment's up...

All that's left now is to put up the chair rail, install a new light fixture, and starting moving in the furniture!

Love the colors! Very bright and cheery. The green resembles the one in Elyana's room as well.

If you have the energy, USE it! In the 3rd trimester, you'll have the desires to do a lot, but not always the agility or energy. Go girl!

Looks good!! :) Be careful with the paint...make sure it's non-toxic or wear a good mask!!!

Thanks, ladies! I'm pretty happy with it myself.

-Thanks for the motivation, Denise!

-Don't worry, Scottie- we bought non-tox paint and made sure to keep the window and door open to keep things ventilated.

-Since you asked...the window treatment is from Pottery Barn- a collection called Baby Stork. It's on it's way out, but you can still buy a few pieces on their website as well as ebay. Here's the link:
