We have names!

I'm not going to post these on Facebook, because I'm not ready for the potentially-negative comments...I know not everyone shares my love of old-fashioned names. But I'm so excited to finally settle on a girl's name that I have to share! We've been decided on a boy's name for quite some time- Max is for Maxcy, which is Brett's given name, and Robert is for my dad. We both liked the first name June, but we couldn't think of a middle name that we really liked...until last night. Because we don't find out the gender ahead of time, it's really important to me to have both determined ahead of time. It somehow makes me feel more prepared!

So....

If it's a boy.....he'll be Max Robert

If it's a girl...she'll be June Elizabeth

Props to me for the Max Robert suggest!...I will call him Bobby though :)

Definitely props to you :-) And, if it is a him, I don't mind if you call him Bobby at all!

I love the meaning behind the boy's name especially - what a special thing too, to have him named for his father and his grandfather. Love that! I also LOVE the name June, it's lyrical! Although "Charlotte" aka "Lottie" was pretty darn cute too!

Awesome names, Em. I love old fashioned names. We love choosing names by their meaning, and I think each parent should be allowed to choose whatever they like sans judgment!!!

I love the names too. I also like old fashioned or unique names...maybe it has something to do with my name though!

I love them both!! And I (obviously) love old fashioned names. Another one I really love is Mabel - probably partly because I taught a super cute and smart 2nd grader named Mabel - but it just doesn't really work with my last name! You should look at the US Census list of names for years around 1900...it's pretty cool. Just google it.

Oh, and Elizabeth is my name, my grandmother's name, Ada's middle name, and Eleanor's middle name. Good choice! :)

Beautiful, Em :-) I'm pretty partial to Elizabeth, it's my middle name.

I LOVE June!!

Not sure how I missed this post! I especially love the name June! So cute! It's a name we've considered in the past. Jordan and I are still back and forth about whether this baby will be Robin or Robert if it's a boy. I guess it really doesn't matter much, but I had just envisioned naming my baby Robin...
